Follyfoot proved game under Ronan Whelan to land the Coleman Quarries Handicap at Ballinrobe.

Declan Leigh 's charge had fought it out with Ashton Rose from three furlongs out but got the better of that rival turning for home.

The filly then had to hold the late charge of fellow grey Inishtearaght to record a length victory in the 1m1f contest.

"She's been running well and the drop back in trip helped. She just didn't get home the last day," said Leigh afterwards.
