Trainer Paul Flynn is reverting to hurdles at Navan today with Rightfolksplease running in the Gaeil Colmcille GAA Kells 'Day At The Races' Handicap Hurdle, in a bid to regain the gelding’s confidence.

A hurdle winner at Downpatrick in June, the six year old finished a short head second in a Sligo handicap chase last month and is currently 5/1 second-favourite for today’s 24 runner race at Navan.

Flynn reports “he lost his confidence a bit that day (over fences in Sligo) even though he was second. A horse fell in front of him and he jumped a bit awkwardly and big.

"We said we would just give him a spin back over hurdles.

"He's a grand horse and will win again. He is well handicapped in both (codes) and will like the ground, but would want it softer - I haven't seen him on soft ground yet, but he wants it softer."
