Femme Magnifique provided champion trainer Willie Mullins with a fourth winner on the day, when making an impressive racecourse debut in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares INH Flat Race at Thurles.

Mullins, who had won the first two maiden hurdles at Navan earlier in the afternoon, had also been successful on the Thurles card with Asian Master

Runner-up on her only point-to-point start, Femme Magnifique was relatively weak in the betting for this rules debut, drifting from odd-on out to 11-8f at the off.

However, the five-year-old travelled effortlessly throughout the contest, tanking in behind the leaders turning for home, before Patrick Mullins allowed her stride on at the two furlong mark.

From there, the Sullivan Bloodstock Limited owned mare, powered clear to land the spoils by seven-and-a-half lengths.

Willie Mullins said: "She did that very well. I am happy she showed her true colours on the race track as things haven't gone right with her in the autumn. I took a chance and ran her and she has done it well.

"I imagine she will stick to bumpers rather than going jumping as she can do that next season."
