It was Gary Carroll in the previous two races, and in the fourth event at Proudstown Park Gary Halpin was the man, as he got aboard second reserve Art Of Unity to win the navanracecourse.ie Handicap for Johnny Feane.
Feane also saddled the third home, Fool Proof but up front there was no living with 16/1 scorer Art Of Unity who defeated Eleuthera by three lengths.
The runners drawn high held sway as has been the case through the card.
“He was down 20lb from 72. When we got him first we ran him in a handicap at Tipperary and the handicapper gave him 4lb for finishing fifth, we shouldn't have run him in it,” said Feane.
“He ran well from there on, was consistent, but his form tailed off last year and he was back to a winnable mark.
“We fancied him today and we're delighted. It all worked out, Gary (Halpin) gave him a good ride, and the lads will be delighted to have a winner. The other lad (Fool Proof, 3rd) ran well too.”
The Stewards fined John James Feane, trainer, €65 for failing to fit declared cheekpieces to Art Of Unity (GB), prior to entering the parade ring.
