Successful earlier in the evening with his runner in the sprint handicap at Cork, trainer Ross O'Sullivan completed an across the card double when Favori Logique stayed on best on the run-in to win the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Handicap Chase at Kilbeggan.
Held up towards rear early on by Darragh O'Keeffe as Room To Roam took the octet along, the nine-year-old gradually moved into contention on the second circuit.
Pushed along in fifth approaching two out, O'Keeffe went third on the well backed 9/2 chance turning into the straight.
As the leader Room To Roam gave way at the last fence, Banjaxed came through with a chance but was quickly headed by Favori Logique who kept on strongly to score by a length-and-a-half.
Darragh O'Keeffe said: “I rang Ross before I went out and he was after having a winner in Cork, his horses are running really well.
“We thought there would be plenty of pace, and he was coming back in trip, so Ross said not to force it, let him find his feet and ride him to come home.
“On the whole he jumped really well and later on in the race he got me in behind the leaders to be competitive.
“When a gap appeared turning in and I got down and gave him a squeeze he found plenty, which was great.
“Me and Phillip Enright said after jumping two fences that we were going fast and furious. It was going to suit us, my fella definitely as he had run over further.
“I was happy that I was able to be where I was and if he could just be there and come home with a run. It's great and everyone is delighted with him.
“I knew coming to the fourth last that Phillip was the danger, he was just beside me, and his horse ran well the last day. I was happy he was in where he was.
“When I got out my fella went down and jumped the last and galloped all the way to the line.
“It's the first time I've been on board him and I'm delighted to get a winner for Ross. He's been giving me rides throughout the summer so it's nice to pick up a winner for him.”
