Exciting jumping talent on show at Fairyhouse
Mister Policeman winning at Cork

There are two domestic meetings today with a rescheduled jumps card at Fairyhouse plus the regular Flat action under the lights at Dundalk this evening. Mister Policeman made an impressive Irish debut over hurdles at Cork last Easter and is an exciting recruit to fences in the beginners’ chase at Fairyhouse (12.55) for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend. Better Days Ahead was an expensive failure when falling at Down Royal a fortnight ago but will be expected to make amends again at cramped odds in the 2m7f maiden hurdle at 12.20.
Gordon Elliott could send out a short-priced double on the card as D B Cooper who was purchased for 225,000 pounds at Aintree just after winning a point-to-point for Sean Doyle last April, makes his debut under Rules in the bumper.
The seven-race card commences at 11.50am and the going is described as soft to heavy, heavy in places. The forecast is for a dry and chilly day.
An eight-race card at Dundalk gets underway at 5pm.
