There are plenty of winners, including some useful types in her pedigree, and Robin On The Hill gained an important success in the PARKRUN Handicap Hurdle at Wexford.
Owned and bred by Joe Fogarty and trained by his son Aidan, the successful daughter of Robin Des Pres (14s into 9s) on track, battled off Aasleagh Dawn and Balinaboola Steel by three parts of a length and a neck.
Mark Enright did the steering on Robin On The Hill.
"Mark gave her some ride anyway. She was very free the last day at Listowel when we ran her in cheek-pieces," said the winning trainer.
"She was too free, and we said we'd put a hood on her today to totally change her about.
"She settled beautiful but was off the bridle going past the stands the first time. He gave her a brilliant ride and he's happy because he thinks Limerick are going to win the All-Ireland now too!"
D.J. Mullins, rider of Lockeen Girl trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran too free and pulled up.
The Stewards interviewed Mr E.P. Keating, rider of War Of The Pennys concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. E.P. Keating was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b) the unnecessary hitting of a horse after its chance of winning or being placed is clearly gone.
Having taken his previous record into account, the Stewards cautioned Mr. E.P. Keating.
