Course specialist Enough Is Enough grabbed her fourth victory at Gowran Park when staying on stoutly for the in-form Gary Carroll.

She was well off the bridle in mid-division entering the straight as Clear Focus tried to set sail for home on the inner. Fairy Flute overcame Clear Focus with under two furlongs to negotiate but looked vulnerable to a closer in the final furlong.

It was Enough Is Enough who finished best in the middle of the track and thundered home to get up in the closing stages and win going away by a length and a quarter.

There was a bunch finish for the places in behind the 7/2 favourite. Serefeli who was a major gamble from 14/1 to 5/1, came home second a nose ahead of Fairy Flute (8/1). Clear Focus was a short head back in fourth at 9/1.

Trainer Paddy Meany said: “She is doing us a great turn this year and is just flying at Gowran. She was in a bad position turning in but fought all the way to the line. Hopefully there is something for her here again this year.”

This was jockey Carroll's fifth winner in four days.
