Trainers' Championship leader Gordon Elliott completed a treble at Punchestown today when his Getaway John was the wide margin winner of the concluding Star Medical Supp Kilmacud(Pro-Am) Bumper, under jockey Jamie Codd.

The son of Getaway made all the running when justifying 4/7 favouritism and scoring an eight and a half lengths win over Castle North

Afterwards Elliott, earlier successful with Hardline and Folsom Blue stated he's a nice horse, an improving horse.

“We'll probably go for a winner bumpers. He's a nice horse, we think a bit of him and he'll improve a lot.

“It's great for John (Doyle, owner) who got married yesterday.”

Codd, whose brother Willie Codd tragically passed away on January 31, had earlier recorded a double at Oldtown point-to-point.
