Long odds-on favourite Search For Glory wasn't unduly troubled in winning the extended 2m5f maiden hurdle in Galway by 10 lengths.

Jack Kennedy pushed him along to lead from Reversal after two out. A less than tidy jump at the last did him no favours, however, Kennedy rode him clear in the final 200 yards to win decisively from Alvarez Eclipse (7/1).

This brought up a double for Gordon Elliott, Kennedy and Gigginstown House who also combined with Miss Agusta in the opener.

Kennedy said: "He picked up well from the back of the last, but would want to be beating them as easy as he did as they were fairly weak opposition.

"His mistake at the last wouldn't have helped and was probably only going through the motions. He'll definitely come on fitness-wise and I'm happy with him."
