Sunwise continued the good run of John Oxx and topped off a good evening for jockey Fran Berry who recorded a treble when coming home in front of the Crowne Plaza Race & Stay Package.

Berry made most of the running on the Arch gelding and was briefly headed by the runner-up Mid Mon Lady one furlong out but the pair kept on well to lead again close home to win by a head.

The short priced 4/9 favourite Trojan War who finished seventh, chased leaders for most but was soon ridden and weakened from over one furlong out.
