House Limit ran out through the rail approaching three out when on terms, but the drama didn't end there as Drumhart won the Congratulating Kate And Michael Handicap Chase at Downpatrick.

After his Stratford victory with Quiet Account, Colin McBratney also supplied Drumhart to score here under Sean Flanagan.

Gambled-on Personal Shopper was left clear by the departure of House Limit, and she looked pretty likely to score, trading in running on Betfair at 1.02.

However Drumhart got there on the line under Flanagan for a head verdict.

McBratney is in Stratford with Quiet Account and Marito (placed).

Part owner James Murdoch said: "He conjured it up. He was unlucky here last year. He hasn't great wind. We cauterised his palate about a month ago.

"He just needs to be held up and to come with a run. Job done! He showed plenty before for us. It's great for Colin as well. It has come to fruition."

The other owner is Stephen Pearson and both are from Comber, County Down.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Ballyfinboy trained by J.R.Finn, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran flat, made a mistake early in the race and was pulled up soon afterwards.

The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Personal Shopper (GB), concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Rachael Blackmore was in breach of R10(3)(f) by using her whip with excessive frequency and R10(4) by failing to give her mount time to respond to the whip. The Stewards suspended Rachael Blackmore for 2 racedays having taken her recent record into consideration.
