Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning recorded a 109/1 double at Gowran Park this afternoon when Haunting Vocals ran out a game winner of the seven-furlong nursery.

The daughter of Vocalised (also having a double) was well held in three maiden starts but bounced out in front today on her handicap debut. Ellona tackled the front-runner a furlong-and-a-half from home but 9/1 shot Haunting Vocals found more in the closing stages to record a two-and-a-quarter length winning margin.

Travelling head lad Ger Flynn said:- "It's a good day for Vocalised with two winners. Kevin rode her a bit different today making the running, and I'd say she'll definitely get a bit further.

"Hopefully there should be another one in her before the year is out."
