Adrian Heskin registered his second double in the space of ten days, as he partnered Subtle Ben to victory in the Supermacs Dooradoyle Beginners Chase.
Heskin recorded a brace at Cork a week ago Friday, and after claiming the opener today on Circe's Island he followed up here aboard the 4/1 chance.
Having his first start over fences on the racecourse, the seven-year-old son of Subtle Power was settled in second, and he was pushed along after the third last.
He challenged and disputed the lead with The Housekeeper (15/8fav) on the run to two out, and he hit front before the final fence.
His task was made all the easier from there as The Housekeeper crashed out, and he came home ten lengths clear at the line, from Gallant Tipp (2/1) back in second under Mark Walsh for Edward O'Grady.
O'Grady also took third with Heads Or Tails (28/1) a further fifteen lengths back under Paddy Mangan.
Liz Doyle said afterwards: "He is very solid without being exciting.
"We bought last January or February after winning a six-year-old and up maiden (point-to-point). We bought him because he his brother Corrigs (runs tomorrow at Roscommon) was flying at home.
"He got into traffic problems over three miles the last day, and I was glad to see the rain today.
"I'll have to make a decision now whether to keep him going. Looking long-term hopefully he'll be a nice three mile plus horse on nice ground in a big handicap.
"He is rated 119 over hurdles, but I think he will be hugely better over fences.
"His is owned by the Subtle Ladies Syndicate and they are a collection of all my female owners."
