Trainer Liam Burke completed a quick double when Jordan Bay (10/1, from 25s this morning) landed the Ballingarry (C & G) Point-To-Point INH Flat Race (Div I).

Shane Baragry ’s mount was a moderate third and had plenty to do early in the straight but stayed on to join issue with Rockon Henry (33/1) inside the final furlong.

The pair had a great tussle and there was just a head in it at the line with twenty lengths back to third home Worth Presenting (25/1).

The front-running 5/4 favourite My Boy Grizzle was too free and faded in the closing stages to finish fourth.

It was a 14th winner of the campaign for Burke making it his best season numerically since he trained 16 winners in 2005/06 when he had the likes of Irish Arkle winner Thyne Again and Galway Plate hero Sir Frederick in his care.

The winner is a son of the Lahib horse Carlo Bank who is a half-brother to Dylan Thomas.

“Shane (Baragry, 22 from Fermoy) rides out for me five mornings a week and is a grand lad who works hard,” said Burke.

“That's his first racecourse winner and I rode against his father Jerry in point to points.

"It was great for the owner (Michael Coffey) too as he has been patient and also had some grief in the family by losing a brother-in-law last year.
