Rachael Blackmore recorded her third double of the season, as she got Glenwood For Ever up on the line in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Chase.
Successful over the course in May, the Paul Gilligan trained eight-year-old since finished third and second at Killarney and Limerick respectively.
Available at 4/1 last night, he opened on-course at 11/4, touching 7/2 before going off the 10/3 favourite.
Sent straight to the front by Blackmore, he was headed after the third by Notimetoserve
They remained first and second throughout, and were both ridden away from the last, with Glenwood For Ever getting up on the line to prevail by a short head.
The runner-up was returned at 50/1 under Andrew Ring for Philip Rothwell, while Galboystown Lady (14/1) was a further length and three parts back in third under Robbie Colgan for Aidan Howard.
Gilligan said afterwards: "The trip was on the short side for him but we took a chance as he was in good old form.
"Our big aim is Galway although he is still low in the handicap to get into something there. We'll probably look at the Blazers as he would have no chance getting into a Plate.
"He could possibly come back here for the Midlands National. We'll see how he is as he's had plenty of racing recently."
The double for Blackmore came in at just over 18/1. She was of course earlier victorious on Supreme Vinnie
