The concluding Gowran Park Golf Club Handicap at Gowran Park tonight went to the Ado McGuinness trained Distant Piper under Emmet McNamara.

The daughter of Distant Music tracked the leaders before eventually moving through to lead close home, to deny Kokoro and Patrickswell by a head and short head.

Afterwards McGuinness reported "Distant Piper loves it here and that is her third win at the track. She'll run at Sligo or Clonmel again next week."
