Dinaria Des Obeaux justified her short price in fine style when making it two from two over fences in the TA Morris Memorial EBF Mares Chase at Clonmel.

Jack Kennedy and Gordon Elliott were recording a double on the card when the Gigginstown filly ran out an easy winner of the two-and-a-half mile Listed prize.

The 4/6 shot tracked the leaders in the early stages and her task was made a bit simpler when front-runner Magic Of Light crashed out at the last with a circuit to run.

Dinaria Des Obeaux hit the front turning for home and the four-year-old only had to be shaken up briefly on the run-in to record a 22-length success over Miss Eyecatcher

"It was a nice race to win with her and was important for breeding. Her jumping was good and maybe going a little bit further suited as it was all happening a little quick for her the last day at Wexford over two miles,” said Elliott.

"We'll keep her in Graded races now and might run her in the Drinmore Chase, getting all the allowances - why not, as we've nothing to lose now."
