Willie Mullins completed a treble at Thurles today, and Ruby Walsh a double, when Dicosimo made all to land the Devil's Bit Beginners Chase.
The 6/4 favourite had his rivals at work jumping the second last in the 2m6f contest. Inis Meain stayed on to give chase going to the last but Dicosimo always looked in control, going on for a two-and-three-quarter length success.
The winner was a faller at Gowran on his latest outing but had been runner-up on his two previous runs.
"He had a good run behind Jessie's (Harrington) horse (Don't Touch It) here a few runs ago and the step up in trip and better ground helped. He was running on fumes at the end but he won."
