Trainer Henry De Bromhead has a strong hand in Fridays Grade 3 Mares Hurdle at Leopardstown, with the County Waterford trainer sending a trio of representatives into battle.
Leading the charge is recent Down Royal runner-up Magical Zoe. The form of her one-and-three-quarter lengths second to Irish Point received a significant boost on Thursday when the latter won a Grade 1 hurdle at the Christmas festival.
However, De Bromhead does harbour some worries: “Magical Zoe ran brilliant in the north, there is a slight concern over the ground and that trip combined but we'll see what it's like tomorrow.
Meanwhile, former Cheltenham Mares' Novices' Hurdle winner Telmesomethinggirl reverts to that discipline having failed to thoroughly convince when sent chasing last term.
“Telmesomethinggirl is having her first run of the year and we're going back over hurdles. She just didn't seem to be getting to the same level over fences," De Bromhead added.
Hispanice Moon, the third of his runners is one the trainer is looking forward to: “Hispanic Moon was brilliant in Punchestown on her first run, she was really good. She's training well and she'll like the ground.”
