Dancing Jeremy was a clear-cut winner of the opening handicap chase in Thurles for James Fahey and Donagh Meyler.
The nine-year-old gelding was positioned in third behind clear leaders Mount Frisco and Sunnyvilla and took closer order after jumping two out.
Mount Frisco came under a drive from Daniel King before the last as Dancing Jeremy made continuous progress to hit the front on the approach to that obstacle.
One he cleared it, he stayed on well over this extended two-mile trip to come in by a growing eight and a-half lengths at 9/2.
Mount Frisco (11/2) picked up a runner-up prize and was a length and a-quarter in front of Hgranca De Thaix who was punted from 9s to 13/2.
Fahey said: "He is qualified for the Full Circle Series Final at the Punchestown festival and I don't really want to go back over hurdles before then.
"We were taking a chance running him over two miles, but there was plenty pace in the race, he jumped well and saw it out.
"We'll pick another race for him and his main aim is the race at Punchestown."
This was a drop in trip for Dancing Jeremy.
This was his second victory over fences to go with a couple over flights.
