Coole Og went off 4/6 favourite on debut for the bumper in Tramore but gave her backers a few palpitations before getting the job done.
She was switched to the inner and driven along in third racing to the final furlong.
Younf Leya had attempted to kick off the front in the final quarter of a mile but she weakened inside the final furlong as Kilbarry Lilac and Coole Og swept past her to fight out the spoils.
It was close home that Patrick Mullins got his mount up to win by a neck. Runner-up Kilbarry Lilac was a 4/1 shot. She was five lengths clear of Young Leya (14/1).
Willie Mullins said: "She was brave to come back and was very green throughout the race. Patrick just coaxed her into a position turning for home and she got a dream run up the inside and it seemed to suit her.
" I'd imagine with her pedigree that she will need further over hurdles. She will probably go straight over hurdles now and keep going until the end of the summer anyway."
