The Kilmore Maiden Hurdle went to 9/4 favourite Conyers Hill in the hands of Sean O'Keeffe.
Placed three times in maidens in the spring, including twice at Powerstown Park, the five-year-old was held up towards the rear before cutting a swathe through the field early in the straight. In front over the second last, the winner went away to beat Blue Reed by eight lengths.
Paul Nolan trains the Walk In the Park gelding for the Buzzer Racing Syndicate and said: "The race was for horses rated 109 or less but he won it handy and jumped well. Dropping him out cold and settling him is probably the way to ride him.
"He works very well and while his work hasn't materialised, he showed up today. It was absolutely beautiful ground out there.
"He has savage scope for eventually jumping fences but will stay over hurdles for the winter. The syndicate has 20 members, are Wexford-based and I'm delighted for them."
