The Tracey Collins trained lough Mist landed a gamble when winning the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race under Pat Shanahan. Lough Mist (backed from 6/1 in the morning and eventually returned 11/4) made most of the running and ran out a game half length winner from Villasol.

Afterwards Sheena Collins, representing her sister Tracey Collins, reported "Lough Mist is a very honest and scopey filly and Pat (Shanahan) gave her a good ride. She loves that ground but that could be her finished for this season."
