Wall Of Fame responded to Jamie Codd's urgings to give the jockey a double at Punchestown.
Denise Foster 's 5/6 favourite ran in the concluding point-to-point bumper over an extended two miles one furlong.
He came off the bridle in fifth, on the outer, with less than three furlongs left to travel.
To his credit, he kept finding and got to grips with by Legacy Of Dreams by the furlong pole.
From there he stayed on well to close out the race by two lengths from Isle Of Oir (7/2). Patient Owner completed the placings a further three lengths adrift in third at 33/1.
“His run in Thurles in a maiden hurdle was good enough to be winning that,” said Codd.
“He's a grand, likeable horse, who jumps well, and we're going to have a lot of fun with him. He'll keep tipping away.
“He ran over two-seven the last day and back to two-one there it looked like he was a little bit outpaced but then he ground it out. He'll be fine upped in trip and over a jump.”
The Stewards interviewed Mr. P. Rogan, rider of Kaftan Style (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he had used his whip when out of contention and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(b)(chance of winning or being placed clearly gone). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended Mr. P. Rogan for two race days.
