Cilium gives them weight and a beating
Cilium in the colours of former Dublin footballer, Tony Hanahoe, came out best of the small field competing for the valuable Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap.
Following on from Seamie Heffernan in the opener, Colm O'Donoghue was another Ballydoyle rider to get on the scoresheet as he eventually got the victorious daughter of War Chant to the front over a furlong out and he could afford to ease his mount close home to beat the staying-on favourite, Rory Ana by a length and a half.
Solicitor Hanahoe wasn't in attendance and neither was the four-year-old's County Tyrone-based trainer, Andy Oliver. They'll have no doubt been thrilled with the performance of their Leopardstown maiden victor who conceded weight all around here.
