Current Jockeys´ Championship jockey Paul Carberry will miss the Galway Festival having received severe concussion in a fall at Killarney today.

Carberry, who fell from She´s Supersonic in the McEllioott´s Landrover Handicap Chase, was stood down for 21 days having suffered severe concussion.

Sean Flanagan, last season´s Champion Claimer, was another jockey to receive an injury and has a possible fracture of his scapula (shoulder joint injury), following a fall from Mojabi in the same race.Mojabi in the same race.
