Daryl Byrne had his claim reduced to 7lb when partnering his third winner aboard Mid Mon Lady in the Buy A Racing Post Yearling Bonus Candidate Handicap.

The pair were just touched off here last week but made no mistake this time as they hit the front just inside the final furlong and held the challenge of If Per Chance by a head.

"He gave it a good ride. He was a bit unlucky last week. It's nice for him as he's a good little rider," said winning trainer Harry Rogers.

"She's a decent sort of filly around here. She's in Navan on Wednesday and if the ground stays dry she might take her chance."
