Strong-travelling Seskinane enjoyed a victory in the extended two mile six handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe.
Phillip Enright 's mount improved after the second last to tack onto the back of the leaders.
He was noted travelling powerfully on the outside as he closed approaching the home bend.
The 12-year-old gelding was almost on terms with Smokey Joe Joe and Toushan at the last but was too strong for his rivals in the final 100 yards as he opened up by two and three quarter lengths.
Toushan came in second at 10/1 with 8/1 shot Smokey Joe Joe, who moved well for long periods, back in third.
"He's never run as often and I don't do much with him between runs," trainer Brian McMahon said.
"I've been keeping him lit all winter and every day he's shown up he's got prize money.
"That's great to cap it off before the ground goes for him. He's a super servant and he got a smashing ride from Philip.
"Eoin Mahon, who rides him out every day, has done a super job with him.
"He's as honest as the day is long and he's just a gent.
"I don't even put him in the stable at home and he wanders the yard loose — coming in when he's happy.
"The other day I had four of my nephews sitting on his back and walking around — he's just a gent.
"There's a lads' race in Punchestown but that's about the only thing he might get into. He probably won't go there."
