Tony Martin and Busted Tycoon were the punters pals in the last at Galway as the 4/5 favourite cruised home under Shane Shortall.

Busted Tycoon had won over the same distance (two miles) at the festival on Tuesday and Martin confirmed that she may run again tomorrow in a mares handicap hurdle.

The filly gave Martin his seventh success of the week and was jockey Shane Shortall’s first winner in Ireland.

“Shane is good value for his 10lb claim and had her in the right position the whole way. He rode a couple of winners over hurdles in England, but that’s his first in Ireland and first on the flat,” Tony Martin said.

Regarding Busted Tycoon turning out again tomorrow, Martin replied: “We’ll have a look at her in the morning and see how she is but it’s possible she could run.”

Shortall had plenty of horse under him as Busted Tycoon tanked along in sixth. He manoeuvred her into fourth before the home straight and when she challenged for the lead inside the final furlong the war was over for the others as she eased home by a length and a half from 25/1 chance Sinntani Ibsen who halved in price from 7/1 earlier today, was third beaten three and a quarter lengths by the winner.
