Jim Bolger completed a treble at Gowran today when his We'll Go Walking made a winning debut in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Maiden, bringing the former Champion Trainer's tally to 13 wins from the opening five Flat racedays in 2013.

Ridden by Rory Cleary, We'll Go Walking kept up with the brisk pace before moving to the front early in the straight. She did wander around through greenness in the closing stages but comfortably held off runner-up Ralston Road

Bolger, who is also preparing Dawn Approach for his 2,000 Guineas bid, later stated “she (We'll Go Walking) is a light framed filly and I felt she was reasonably fit coming here today. Her dam is a full sister to Teofilio so she didn't lick it off the street!

“She's very like my other Authorized filly (Rehn's Nest) which won at The Curragh - both have a light frame and are around the same class. We'll Go Walking is a blacktype (standard) horse and will be entered in everything.”
