The Ballyhane Stud Fillies Maiden caused a shock when 25/1 Filista came home in front under Davy Moran and trained by Jim Bolger making it a quick double for the trainer who won the previous race on the card with Three Rocks

The other Jim Bolger trained horse in the race the 1/1 favourite Buiochas Mor under Kevin Manning was raced in behind the leader, ridden and weakened from 2f out and finished 9th.
