Jim Bolger and Kevin Manning teamed up to record a double at Leopardstown this afternoon, courtesy of Sophisticated Heir in the seven-furlong handicap.

The 7/1 shot came with a strong run to lead inside the final furlong and kept on well to score by a length-and-a-half from Flic Flac The winner, making his seasonal debut, is set to bid for a quick follow-up in a mile handicap back here on Wednesday.

“He came back to a realistic mark. He goes on any ground and hopefully he'll come back here on Wednesday,” said Bolger.

The winning trainer/jockey combination had also struck in the opener with Ceisteach
