Seamie Heffernan, successful on Milliethemollie in the preceding contest, quickly doubled up on 6/5 favourite Billboa who made most to win the six-furlong maiden for Willie Browne.
The son of Brazen Beau, placed on his two previous outings at Dundalk, was in front after a furlong and found more off the bridle than market rival Cross Border who had travelled well in his slipstream early in the straight.
A length and a quarter was the winning margin.
"He seems to enjoy that surface - he shouldn't, but he does," remarked Browne.
"He's not the soundest horse in the mornings, but it is great he did that.
"We were running him on soft ground, but it was a mistake as he can't handle it."
