The consistent Beauthea lost her maiden status this afternoon after she came home in front of the Gortnagross Maiden in the hands of the very capable Davy Moran for trainer Joanna Morgan.

Moran was always prominent on the daugher of Barathea and improved to lead from over 2f out, soon clear they kept on well despite being carried wide by a loose horse close home.

Winning trainer Joanna Morgan was not present.
