Batcio brought up plenty of bets with a facile victory in the bumper at Kilbeggan.
From 7/2 in the morning, he was backed down to 13/8 favourite on the off.
The grey tanked away from main market rival Presenting Leah (15/8) in the final furlong to cruise in by 13 lengths with Aubrey McMahon in the saddle. Scotsman's Bay came in third at 7/1, a further eight and a half lengths down.
Trainer Ted Walsh said: "He is a nice horse. He'll probably go for a maiden hurdle now somewhere. He won a point-to-point and he is a good leaper.
"He is a fun horse for Aubrey and he'll get a lot of fun out of him."
Batcio races in the colours of the jockey's father, Luke McMahon.
