"I will arise and go now," would have been an apt utterance from those that made Ballydoyle's All The King's Men the evens favourite only to be turned over by 12/1 stable companion Isle Of Innisfree in race three at Naas.

"I will arise and go now," are of course the opening words of Yeats' The Lake Isle of Innisfree, and the equine form of Isle Of Inisfree is a son of Scat Daddy.

He shed his maiden tag at the sixth time of asking in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden (Plus 10 Race).

All The King’s Men is by Scat Daddy's son, No Nay Never, and though he finished off well, it wasn't well enough to get to Isle Of Inisfree who held on by a head.

"He's a massive big horse and hardy at home. We had to keep running him just to keep the freshness off him. I'd be happy to ride him at five — he's very quick," said winning rider Seamie Heffernan.

"He has a serious pedigree and is a full brother to Sioux Nation. Hopefully he could be as good as him."

The Stewards enquired into two incidents in the straight, the first involving All The King's Men, ridden by D. O'Brien, Archaeology (GB), ridden by S. Foley and Cityman (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen.

The second incident involving Count D'orsay ridden by D.P. McDonogh and Isle Of Innisfree (USA), ridden by J.A. Heffernan.

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.

Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action in relation to the first incident but in relation to the second incident advised J.A. Heffernan to ride with more care in future.
