After finishing second to Mallowney over the course and distance earlier this month, Art Of Logistics gained his revenge this afternoon as he took the Brady Family Ham Supporting Kildare GAA Handicap Chase.
The Dessie Hughes trained victor was fancied by punters to reverse the form with Mallowney, as he went off the 2/1 favourite, having opened at 9/4 on-course.
Mallowney, under Davy Russell for Tim Doyle, on the other hand opened at 5/2 but drifted out to 3/1 at the off.
Ridden by Mark Enright, the bay victor raced mainly in third, and landed in second after three out.
He was soon ridden entering the straight, but he responded well to pressure, getting to the front approaching the last before keeping on well on the run-in to score by two lengths.
Mallowney, who took up the running before six out and travelled best into the straight, had to settle for second, while Followmeuptocarlow (7/2) ran his usual consistent race, finishing a further four lengths back in third under Paul Townend for Tom Foley.
Dessie Hughes said afterwards: "It was a handicappers dream. He was meeting Mallowney at three pounds better for about three lengths.
"He preferred the better ground. He will come back here in three weeks for a similar type of race.
"He doesn’t go on soft or heavy, and he will get two and a half mile."
