Annie Power maintained her 100% record as she scored on her debut over hurdles in the Thurles Mares Maiden Hurdle.
The 4yo chestnut daughter of Shirocco won her first two bumpers at Galway and Wexford when trained by Jim Bolger and she made it three from three on her debut for Willie Mulllins in another bumper at Listowel in September.
Making her debut over hurdles this afternoon she was sent off the 1/2 favourite with Patrick Mullins in the saddle.
Having raced in second for much of the contest she improved to lead after the third last. She edged clear before two out and she stayed on well from there to record an un-extended thirteen length success.
The Kevin O'Donnell trained Dubh Go Leir attempted to make all under Danny Mullins but she could offer no more once passed by the winner and finished second at 5/1.
First reserve Byerley Babe ran on to take third at 20/1 a further nine lengths back under Phillip Enright for Robert Tyner.
Willie Mullins said afterwards: "I was delighted with her jumping considering how little jumping she had done. She has a nice engine and she should have no problem going further."
