Voice Of Angels ran out an easy winner of the opener at Thurles, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.
Trained by Joseph O'Brien, she was placed on her first two starts and was tried in Listed company on her most recent outing, clipping heels and unseating early on.
Expected to make the breakthrough this afternoon, she was sent off the clear 8/15 favourite (from 5/4 in early shows) under Shane Crosse for owners Fairway SAS.
Soon in a share of the lead, the grey victor edged to the front on the approach to the straight and extended her advantage from the two furlong pole.
Pushed out inside the final furlong, she came home five lengths to the good from Timiyra (4/1), with Colin Keane aboard this 4/1 chance for Dermot Weld.
The winner is out of a full-sister to The United States, Hermosa and Hydrangea, with the three of those successful at the highest level.
Brendan Powell, assistant trainer to O'Brien, said: "She is a nice scopey filly and one to look forward to next year. She deserved it on her first two runs.
"She seems to cope with most types of ground and should be able to get black type at some stage."
STEWARDS REPORT
M. Santos, rider of Drish Melody trained by Donal Commins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount missed the break and hung left in the closing stages.
