Co Waterford based trainer Henry de Bromhead saddled the 2/1 favourite An Cathaoir Mor to The Paddypowertrader.com Handicap Hurdle, ridden by David Casey and owned by Owen Byrne.

De Bromhead said afterwards, "He needs a fast run race and he was a bit keen early on. He likes this place he also won his bumper here. He's a real chaser and you can see that in the way he even jumps his hurdles."
