Alisier D'Irlande has blitzed his rivals by twenty one lengths and seventeen lengths for his wins to date. Whilst it wasn't quite so far today, Henry de Bromhead's charge still impressed with his nine length victory under Andrew Lynch in the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Novice Chase at Leopardstown.

As usual he Kapgarde gelding dictated throughout, but not by as far on this occasion. His jumping was very good and the 4/7 shot asserted from before the last to score from I'm All You Need

After a reported mix up with the saddle I'm All You Need was disqualified as his rider Jack Kennedy weighed in thirteen pounds light. Dysios was promoted to the second spot.

"That was brilliant. I was hoping he would improve on the slightly better ground and his jumping definitely improved," said de Bromhead.

"I thought he was good. Even the other horse taking him on a bit did him no harm for experience.

"I think he's entitled to go to Aintree. Sizing Granite won this last year, beating Dysios. I think the fast track there will suit him.

"I'm delighted for the Brookhouses (owners). He's an exciting horse. He's got a lot of flair and for me he's very exciting.

"It looked like Andrew was trying to slow him down the whole way until he jumped the last and then he got going again.

"It was tacky ground and I think he'll be even better on better ground. It was a lovely bit of experience and that's what we wanted to do.

"Dysios is a good horse in his own right and the mare (I'm All You Need) is also well rated."

When asked to compare Alisier D'Irlande with Sizing John the Waterford trainer said: "He doesn't gallop at home as there would be nothing left of him. We keep it for the races.

"They've never been near each other."
