Adapt To Dan (11/2) and the 7/2 favourite Tipperary Moon were to the fore throughout the www.ratoathvets.ie Handicap (45-65) with the former making all and repelling the persistent challenge of the market leader by half a length.

It was a second win for the Denis Hogan-trained Dandy Man gelding who won at Gowran last year and clearly benefitted from his seasonal reappearance fifth at the Co.Kilkenny venue last month.

Winning rider Joey Sheridan, who took 5lb off the back of the winner, is enjoying a productive spell and said: “We had a good draw today (stall one) and Denis said if I was getting it easy to bowl away.

"I was able to set my own fractions and it was a big help to me. In fairness he battled away well to the line, so hopefully he might pick up another one.”
