The in form Mick Darcy was back in the winner’s enclosure when coming home in front of the R.W.S Maiden Hurdle aboard the Tim Doyle trained Richard The First at odds of 7/2.

Darcy raced his mount in behind the leaders, took closer order approaching straight, improved to lead at last and kept on well to hold off the long time leader Katcarhue by 4 ½ lengths.
