Following on from Bunting in the opener Willie Mullins and Sean O'Keeffe doubled up in the feature at Limerick, the Grade 2 Lyons Of Limerick Jaguar Land Rover Novice Hurdle. Loughglynn did the needful for team Closutton.
The Jodmart Construction Ltd-owned Vendangeur gelding opened the door for his rivals when fluffing the last.
However Loughglynn (9/4 favourite) found plenty when required to beat Stellar Story by a length. Just two lengths covered the first four home.
"We went steady, he was keen and it was a good performance. Going a nicer gallop, he will settle better and he has a bit of class. He had a good look racing in front the last day," said O'Keeffe.
"He is still a big baby, is improving all the time and his jumping was better today than the last day. He didn't mind the ground and will make into a lovely three-mile chaser."
Paddy Power are 10/1 from 25/1 about Loughglynn for the Albert Bartlett.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Answer To Kayf (GB), ridden by J.P. Shinnick, placed third, and Stellar Story, ridden by D. Meyler, placed second, where it appeared D. Meyler may have struck Answer To Kayf with his whip. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Banprionsa trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have an overeach on her left fore but to be otherwise post race normal.
Sam Ewing, rider of Search For Glory trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.
M.P. O'Connor, rider of Banprionsa, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost her action and pulled up.
