1st time blinkers do the trick on Borolee
Borolee came out best in a blanket finish to the Twilight Evening Live Music 17th June Handicap Chase at Limerick. Theresathingwrong looked a winner up the straight but he didn't find what was required on the run-in and he faded to finish third as Borolee beat Ponmeword by a neck.
Barry Murphy, partner of winning trainer Liz Doyle, said: "He won back in October at Punchestown by a short a head where he missed the last. He done the same thing here again today.
"Burnt Oil Babe was second that day at Punchestown and she won since.
"We've had problems with the horses this year so I'm glad he won. He made mistakes today but Pat gave him a great ride and I hope Matt Chapman gives him ride of the week on Atheraces."
