Sixth in the Triumph and fourth in the Grade 1 for juveniles at Aintree, the 1/3 favourite Rightsotom was a class apart in the four-year-old maiden hurdle.
Danny Mullins made all on his uncle Tom’s Maxios gelding who cruised home by eight and a half lengths from Spy
Winning trainer Tom Mullins said: "he won like a 1/3 shot and it was grand to get the job done. It was still only the fourth race of his career and he is an exceptional hurdler being so good over them.
"He is a half-brother to a Grade 2 horse in Italy and while he was always a nice horse, had trouble with little niggly things during the winter and that's why he only had a few runs. He has put it all together there.
"The last thing we wanted to do was to make the running but when you are 1/3 it's better not to be messing and pulling and dragging in behind, so we said we'd go on.
"He could now go the Flat route and there are also nice handicap hurdles for him during the summer."
