After race at Gowran Park Sat, 9th Mar, 2024 (1st)
He was very disappointing in the Dan Moore (eighth at Fairyhouse on his penultimate start). I thought I’d got it wrong and he wasn’t good enough, but I’d say he hit a flat spot on the day,. Today was a bit lower class, but he did it well. He was in great form coming here and I was hoping he’d run a good race. He’s been very consistent, and we’re delighted to get a good pot. He was due to run in this race last year, but he scoped wrong a couple of days beforehand. He’s still improving and that was a career best over fences.

After race at Naas Sat, 10th Feb, 2024 (1st)
in fairness Whiskeywealth was going to do that in Thurles the day he fell. Maybe we overfaced him going for the Dan Moore (Chase) - they maybe went a half-stride too fast, but I still think he ran below par that day. I still think he’s a better horse over fences. If you look at his form last year (when falling at Fairyhouse) he jumped the last a length in front of Dinoblue. Maybe she’d have beaten him but that was savage form and I still think there is a good prize in him. He might go for the Shamrock (Handicap Chase) at Gowran (on March 9).

After race at Clonmel Thu, 2nd Dec, 2021 (1st)
He had a nice run in the spring time at Limerick when he should have won and was unlucky. He was entitled to do that today and he had the form and liked that ground,. The ground was probably a bit quick for him the last day - he needs a cut and he is in a long time. We're waiting for soft ground for a long time. He'll go to Limerick at Christmas for something like a rated novice hurdle next.
