Verbosity hacks up in Cork
Strong-travelling Verbosity put her rivals to the sword in emphatic fashion in the extended mile nursery at Cork. Sat 17th OctWeld/Smullen/Aga Khan make it 2 at Galway
In first time blinkers Simannka (9/4 favourite) really knuckled down in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Median Auction Fillies Maiden, to touch off her fellow Aga Khan runner, Rayisa (well-backed 5/2 shot), at Galway. Mon 07th SepWhiskey too strong for Dunes
The McMahon silks may be more familiar in the jumping sphere, but the purple and yellow got a successful airing via Colm O'Donoghue and Whiskey Sour in the Guinness 17:59 EBF Median Auction Maiden at Galway. Fri 31st JulBonaparte justifies favouritism in Naas opener
Rue Bonaparte justified favouritism in the opener at Naas, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden, scoring under Chris Hayes for Kevin Prendergast and Lady O'Reilly. Wed 13th May
After race at Cork Sat, 17th Oct, 2015 (1st)
She ran into two very good fillies at Galway and then, while she wouldn't have won, didn't get the clearest of runs the last day. She did it well and I've no doubt she'll get an extra distance. If I have my way she'll run at Leopardstown in another nursery, which is the last opportunity of the year for her, but I'll have to speak to the boss (owner and fellow trainer Jim Bolger)!
