I'm very happy with him and he'll tip away for the summer. He needs three miles and good ground and while he's not the biggest in the world, he jumps well,. I thought he'd a good chance but was a small bit worried when they put on all the water. We weren't over confident but all the owners (from the Top Of The Town Bar in Askeaton) backed him this morning at 7/4 and 2/1. There aren't many winners' of one races for the summer so he might have to go handicapping now.

He did it well and jumped very well. I'd say the nicer ground helped him and hopefully he can progress from here.

Well done to Charles on a well-orchestrated gamble!. After Galway we needed it. I did my brains in at Galway with Sea Light and Crystal Pearl. That's my first treble. It's just the way it happened. I wouldn't say I planned it. I had a bunch of horses come into form and I put them in together. It was the last couple of weeks I was able to put it together. Long-term it would be impossible to plan.
